Prototype 'Dubliner' Handbag

This handbag was a prototype made in 2021, from Italian vegetable-tanned cowhide. The main feature is a central separating zip, giving you a large aperture that can fit everything you need. Inside are four main compartments: two large central compartments separated by a divider, and two slip pockets that are perfect for small items or papers.

This bag was made using a distinct 'welted' construction, meaning the outside structure is connected to the interior using a welt or strip that surrounds the bag. This is similar to how high-end shoes are made.

Well balanced, this bag can sit on it's own, has large gussets that allow it to be filled without compromising the shape, and can easily be slung over your shoulder using the two long handles.

This bag is lined with a chocolate-coloured suede. The zip has a brass-coloured zipper pull and teeth.
